This book was decent enough for an introduction into both Asatru as a belief system and some history of the Vikings/Germanic peoples. The only issues I had with it were the numerous typos as well as some poor English sentence structure. I'm guessing both of these were from bad translation on the part of the author/translator. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a short informative book, this one is definitely worth picking up.Product details

Recently purchased this book and was well pleased with the content. I'm familiar with most of the information and while I may not agree with the author on some points, he does present ideas that are are thought provoking. I would recommend this book interested in asatru.
I just finished it in a couple of hours because I couldn't put it down.
Where others have failed to give a firm presentation, I felt Klovekorn's writing really stood out. I've been teetering back and forth with calling myself an Ásatrúar and mostly going away from it because of other sources and communities I've tried to be apart of which have never been welcoming and rather off-putting. I've dabbled in the study of Hellenismos to Atheism and until finding your book I had all but given up hope on claiming a religion that "felt" uniquely right.
